Ten years of open source engineering,
in the US and Europe.
I write the software, deploy the platform it runs on, and administer the systems underneath. Nearly all of it is public.

What I do
Most engagements are two or three of these at once. That is usually why one person makes more sense than an agency and a hosting company.
Full-stack web development
Interface and user experience, the back end behind it, the database it reads from, and the pipeline that ships changes. One person across the whole stack, so the screen and the query feeding it change together.
Research software engineering
Code that works on one person's machine, turned into something your group can install, test and rely on long after its author has moved on.
Platforms on Kubernetes
Galaxy, RStudio, Jupyter, Keycloak or your own application, running on the cloud you are funded for, scaling with demand and costing little when nobody is using it.
Hosting and systems administration
I keep it running so you do not have to hire someone who does. Servers, clusters, storage, DNS, certificates, backups and the cloud bill, with the exit written down from the start.
Modernisation
Off the server nobody wants to touch and onto infrastructure described in a repository, so the next rebuild takes an afternoon instead of a fortnight.
In the open
github.com/almahmoudAlmost everything I have built in the last decade is public, and most of it is still running somewhere.

Write me a paragraph about what you are trying to build, or what you need kept running. That is enough to start, and scoping it costs nothing.
